Spelling Bee Competition

Last week, Manquecura CDE School students released their spelling competition, with astonishing results. Students form 1st grade to 12th grade, presented their contestasnts, who were outstandingly enthusiastic to spell high level of difficulty words.

The English Department worked hard in the selection of words, and the classification of them, according to the level or category. Teachers and students from 12th Grade B, decorated the auditorium and it was an experience well worth having.

This events wer held on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th, May, during the whole day and it was hosted by  Miss Macarena Solís, Head of the English Department, Magadalena Hermosilla y Manuel Huaquilaf (IVº MEDIO B).

The audience and participants were really happy to participate in interactive constests and pronounce Word for their classmates.

Our most distinguished Judges were Tamara Vargas and Josefa Martínez 12th grade B students, and Teacher Pablo Moreno Tello, invited from University Cardenal Silva Henríquez.

Prizes and presents were Diplomas and Certificates, and medals for all of them, and many High- Tech Presents.

La semana pasada, los estudiantes del colegio Manquecura CDE realizaron su concurso de deletreo, con resultados sorprendentes. Los estudiantes de 1 ° Básico a IV ° Medio presentaron a sus concursantes, que fueron extraordinariamente entusiastas para deletrear palabras de alto nivel de dificultad.

El Departamento de Inglés trabajó duro en la selección de palabras y la clasificación de las mismas, según el nivel o categoría. Los maestros y estudiantes del IVº Medio B decoraron el auditorio y fue una experiencia que valió la pena.

Este evento se llevó a cabo el miércoles 23 y el jueves 24 de mayo durante todo el día, y fue presentado por la directora del Departamento de Inglés Miss Macarena Solís, Magadalena Hermosilla y Manuel Huaquilaf (IVº MEDIO B).

La audiencia y los participantes se alegraron de participar en los concursos interactivos y pronunciaron palabras para que sus compañeros deletrearan.

Nuestros jueces más distinguidos fueron Tamara Vargas y Josefa Martínez estudiantes de IVº Medio B y el Profesor y Coordinador de Prácticas Pablo Moreno Tello, invitado de la Universidad Cardenal Silva Henríquez.

Los premios y obsequios fueron Diplomas y Certificados, y medallas para todos ellos, además de estupendos premios tecnológicos.
